Washing<\/strong><\/h6>\n

All Snugpak\u00ae clothing is fully washable by hand or even by a washing machine. We provide all the instruction on the care label, which you can find sewn into one of the inner seams.<\/p>\n

However, even the highest grade of insulation\/filling will eventually lose some thermal efficiency and structure after repeated wash cycles, so we recommend that washing your clothing should not be done often, especially when using a washing machine. Whenever possible, instead of a full wash, we recommend sponging both inner and outer fabrics with soap and water. Then dry and air your sleeping bag thoroughly before storing back in its compression sack.<\/p>\n

If you are machine washing your clothing make sure you read the following guidelines for best results.<\/p>\n

  1. Zip up everything and ensure any draw-cords are entirely in the machine and not trapped in the door before starting.<\/li>\n
  2. Machine wash on a cool and gentle setting (never more than 30\u00b0C\/86\u00b0F) in a front-loading domestic washing machine (we would advise against using a top loader as the agitator can damage the product).\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. Avoid the use of liquid detergent and fabric softeners as this can leave a residue on the bag, a low or fragrance-free powder or Tech Wash<\/a> is ideal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    Drying<\/strong><\/h6>\n

    We recommend you line dry clothing and we recommend you do not tumble dry.<\/p>\n \t\t

    \r\n \t\t\tWarning<\/span> \t\t\t \t\t\t\t

    \r\n \t\t\t\t\tDrying clothing in a tumble drier could result in heat damage to the items. This can happen even when using a low-temperature setting if left in the dryer too long or doesn’t have enough space in which to tumble freely. \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

    Reproofing<\/strong><\/h6>\n

    We use a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish on all our clothing, water repellency can be maintained with periodic re-treatment with suitable aftercare products such as Nikwax<\/a><\/p>\n

    Storage<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n

    Do not store clothing compressed in stuff sacks for long periods between uses. We advise you to store your clothing either by hanging using the hanging tab or laying it flat and loosely folding.<\/p>\n
